Phillips 66 is seeking an Instrument Technician for the Borger Refinery to configure and maintain pneumatic and electronic instrumentation. The role involves troubleshooting control loops, transmitters, automated valves, and PLC-based systems, with emphasis on safety and reliability in a refining environment.

Required are US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. The position requires shift work, on-call availability, and ability to work in confined

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Currently hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work 8–12 hour shifts including weekends, holidays and nights.
• Available for on-call, overtime, and confined spaces.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and re-install control loops, controllers, transmitters, valves, and switches.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation controlled by DCS and PLCs.
• Read and interpret loop drawings, P&IDs, wiring, and schematics.
• Install, configure, and commission new instrumentation and loop checks.
• Perform activities including pulling, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
