The Elizabeth Layton Center in Paola, KS is seeking a Receptionist/Referral Specialist to monitor the electronic health record for behavioral health referrals and engage clients or guardians to obtain appointments.

You will greet clients, provide front desk coverage, collect fee information, and collaborate with staff to schedule referrals while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of clerical or general office experience preferred.
• One year of computer, typing and data entry experience required.
• One year of customer service experience required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the organization’s electronic health record for behavioral health referrals.
• Assist individuals or guardians with required documents or release of information.
• Identify appropriate specialists or facilities based on referrals and insurance coverage.
• Coordinate with staff to schedule referral appointments and ensure timely access to care.
• Provide front desk coverage and greet clients and visitors.
• Enter information into the appointment scheduler and maintain confidentiality.
