Responsibilities

• Communicate with providers and nursing regarding authorizations and scheduling referrals.
• Take telephone requests for authorizations and prepare referral requests.
• Maintain EHR referral documentation and track referrals.
• Schedule referral appointments and track patient compliance.
• Submit retroactive authorization requests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
