Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years in a medical office setting with familiarity in verification and scheduling.
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred) and prior authorization processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all referrals and ensure necessary documentation is submitted.
• Schedule, cancel, or reschedule referral-related appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Document all referral activity in the EMR and communicate status to patients.
