One Community Health in The Dalles, Oregon is seeking a Referral Coordinator to support patients by coordinating referrals to outside services and assisting scheduling.

You will communicate with patients and partners, verify insurance, gather necessary information, and track referrals within a Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm on-site schedule. Prior clinic experience and EPIC EMR familiarity are preferred.

Formación

• Two years of clerical/administrative experience in medical settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• HIPAA and privacy laws knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Customer service and workplace safety awareness.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic community healthcare environment.
• Strong organization and task-priority abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate referrals with patients and outside partners via fax, phone, and computer.
• Process and track referrals and verify insurance coverage.
• Gather required information and assist with scheduling.
• Support medical/dental/behavioral health teams as assigned.
