The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Authorization (Referrals) Coordinator for Central Admin in NE Portland. This hybrid/remote role supports clinics with eligibility verification, referrals, and authorizations, collaborating with clinical staff and patients to ensure smooth care delivery.

Ideal candidates have healthcare experience, EPIC EMR familiarity, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and communicate professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, healthcare insurance company, or managed care organization.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a referral/authorization coordinator is strongly preferred.
• Prior EPIC EMR experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT procedures, and ICD-10 coding is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for assisting clinics with verifying eligibility, provides guidance to assist with insurance benefits, as well as providing medical policies as needed in supporting clinic requests, documenting physician direct referrals, pre-certification, and authorizations of certain services as defined by the patient’s health insurance plan, via phone, fax, or written requests.
• Identifies and requests referrals/authorizations. Communicates referrals or insurance issues to clinical staff. Responds promptly to clinical requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
