Job summary

Resolution Think LLC. seeks a Referral Clerk to support a healthcare team at a Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

You will provide professional customer service while assisting patients and staff with referral and appointment coordination. Responsibilities include handling calls, reviewing referrals, scheduling and rescheduling specialty appointments, processing referrals within timeframes, and coordinating with outside providers or insurers.

Qualifications

• US citizen with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer systems.
• One year admin experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Ability to obtain necessary background checks and MTF access.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and assist patients and staff with referral questions.
• Review referrals for completeness and eligibility.
• Schedule and reschedule specialty appointments per guidelines.
• Process referrals within established timeframes.
• Coordinate referrals with outside providers or insurers when needed.
• Maintain accurate referral documentation in MHS GENESIS and systems.
• Educate patients on referral procedures and timelines.
• Provide professional customer service while ensuring confidentiality.
