Job summary

Centre, Inc. is seeking a Community Corrections Specialist to support residential reentry efforts and ensure accountability, safety, and structured programming for justice-involved residents.

You will work directly with residents, document activities, and contribute to compliance and safety in a supportive environment. Role includes hands-on supervision, monitoring, and coordination with staff to promote rehabilitation and community safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework in criminal justice, social work, psychology preferred.
• At least 18 years of age and valid eligibility to work.
• Preference for two years of experience with criminal justice treatment programs.

Responsibilities

• Sign residents in and out of the facility and verify movements.
• Confirm employment schedules and approved activities.
• Monitor resident accountability using GPS and tracking tools.
• Conduct breath tests and urinalysis as part of compliance checks.
• Perform searches of rooms, vehicles, and individuals.
• Complete incident reports and document resident activity.
• Maintain safety and security within the facility with professional conduct.
