Job summary

GEO Reentry Services LLC is hiring a Case Manager to provide ongoing support and program planning for participants. You will manage a caseload, apply What Works principles, and work with staff to implement evidence-based practices in all interactions.

You will prepare personalized plans, monitor progress, assist with housing and education, and maintain confidential files while ensuring compliance with program requirements and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree preferred in Criminal Justice, Human Services or related field.
• Two (2) years’ work experience in a related field; an Associate’s degree can be substituted for experience.
• Familiar with community corrections systems and current practices.
• Ability to write clear concise reports in English using correct grammar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare written personalized programs for each participant to establish measurable criteria and a timeframe.
• Review plan with participants weekly and document progress toward goals.
• Assist participants with housing, education, and vocational programs and financial independence.
• Orient participants upon arrival to ensure smooth assimilation and paperwork completion.
• Maintain confidential participant files and ensure data security.
• Prepare discharge reports within contract timeframes and summarize program performance.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to problem solving as a team.
• Monitor participant compliance with alcohol and drug counseling when required.
• Conduct orientation meetings with participants and families to explain program rules.
• Establish participant schedules and approve temporary changes as needed.
• Communicate effectively with contracting agency and GEO staff to foster teamwork.
• Adhere to attendance and safety policies; respond to directives from management.
