Job summary

GEO Reentry Services LLC in Houston seeks a dedicated case manager to support residents by developing program plans, managing caseloads, and applying evidence-based practices. You will work under supervision with the Facility Director and ensure adherence to What Works principles.

The role trains and assists junior staff, coordinates with Job Developers to verify employment, and maintains confidential files while promoting safety, rehabilitation, and successful community re-entry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social, human services, criminal justice or behavioral science is required.
• One year of experience in human services, corrections or community-based service.
• Ability to work with computers and standard software used by the department.
• Basic knowledge of case management, referrals and interventions in group and individual settings.
• Good presentation, public speaking and facilitation skills.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• May perform Monitor duties including resident intakes, check-ins, breath analysis and drug screens.
• Prepare individualized programs to set measurable goals and review progress weekly.
• Assist residents to budget, find housing, and enroll in education or vocational programs.
• Monitor sanitation and safety and assign daily chores to residents as needed.
• Orient new residents and help with paperwork and facility tours.
• Maintain confidential resident files and ensure security of records.
• Coordinate with Job Developers to verify employment for residents.
