GEO Reentry Services LLC. seeks a dedicated professional to support reentry programs for participants through evidence-based modules and counseling. You will facilitate cognitive behavioral curricula and guide individuals in developing life skills and post-release plans.

The role emphasizes team collaboration, adherence to correctional policies, and strong interpersonal communication to assist participants in achieving successful reintegration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field required.
• Must have previous experience as a facilitator/educator/group moderator.
• Preference given to experience within a correctional setting.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to interact professionally in counseling settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented; understands correctional policies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates delivery of cognitive behavioral curriculum in individual and group settings, focusing on motivation for change, social adjustment, personal management, social skills development, cognitive restructuring, and problem-solving.
• Conducts periodic reviews of curriculum and resources to enhance participants’ participation in life skills programming.
• Maintains class rosters, attendance records, and provides completion certificates for programs.
• Supports assessment of participant needs and referrals to management.
• Provides individual and group counseling in self-esteem, problem solving, relationships, and related issues.
• Communicates with participants regarding reentry planning and identifying community resources.
• Aids participants in planning post-release plans and encourages responsible post-release behaviors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
