Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to perform offensive cybersecurity projects for U.S. Government and DoD systems. You will collaborate with Blue Team and security professionals to strengthen overall cyber posture and ensure compliance with STIGs and security best practices.

Key focus areas include Linux/Windows, PENTEST tooling, AD/identity integration, and cloud security in AWS environments. Requires active Secret clearance and strong DoD experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of software engineering experience with DoD or IT systems.
• Strong Linux and Windows knowledge with enterprise network understanding.
• Hands-on PENTEST tool experience (Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike).
• Experience in at least one of: Red Team, exploit development, or web app pen testing.
• Identity and access management, AD, SSO, MFA, Azure AD integration.

Responsibilities

• Debug/reverse engineer software and analyze Windows/Linux logs.
• Perform penetration testing and offensive cyber operations.
• Collaborate with Blue Team to enhance cyber posture.
• Document vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
• Support security architecture across DoD/US Government systems.
