Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct offensive cybersecurity operations for U.S. Government and DoD systems. Active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred.

You will work with Blue Team to enhance cyber posture and defend critical infrastructure. Minimum five years of experience in security testing and software development, plus extensive tool experience with Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, and Cobalt Strike.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience applying software engineering to DoD/IT systems.
• Linux proficiency with solid grasp; Windows enterprise knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows events and Linux logs.
• Develop and debug Web 2.0, Java, Perl, C++, and scripting GUIs.
• Identify and mitigate security flaws in source code and systems.
• Apply NSA-approved encryption technologies and STIGs.
