Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct offensive cybersecurity operations for DoD systems. You will work with Blue Team to improve overall cyber posture and must hold an ACTIVE Secret Clearance (Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred).

US citizenship required for clearance. Qualifications include 5 years in DoD/IT software engineering, strong Linux/Windows knowledge, and hands-on pentest tooling (Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike).

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in software engineering applied to DoD or IT systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows within enterprise networks.
• Experience with penetration testing tools and red-team operations.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, C, C++, and PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud and identity services including AWS and Azure AD.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows and Linux logs and events for security.
• Develop and test software in multiple languages and GUI tooling.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in systems and code.
• Assist in security architecture and deployment of defense-in-depth measures.
