Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct penetration testing and offensive cybersecurity operations for U.S. Government and DoD systems. You will collaborate with Blue Team and cybersecurity professionals to enhance overall cyber posture.

Required: ACTIVE Secret Clearance; Top Secret w/ SCI preferred. Candidates should have strong Linux/Windows, PENTEST tools, and scripting experience across Python, C, C++, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in software engineering applied to program development; modeling and simulation for DoD or IT systems.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows in enterprise networks.
• Experience with Penetration Testing tools and red team operations in modern environments.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows events and Linux logs for security insights.
• Develop and test exploit-focused code; participate in red team engagements.
• Operate and secure systems across varied platforms and environments.
• Document security findings and propose mitigations.
