Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Independence at Home is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to lead high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for hourly and live-in caregiver roles across Connecticut. You will source, screen, extend offers, and coordinate onboarding while building strong partnerships with community programs and schools.

You will design targeted campaigns, attend job fairs and events, and train hiring managers on interview best practices to improve selection and conversion rates.

Qualifications

• High-volume recruitment experience required.
• Proficient in ATS, recruitment platforms, and MS Office.
• Strong ability to build relationships with hiring managers and external partners.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, talent pipelines, and recruitment campaigns.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist for high-volume, full-cycle recruitment, primarily for hourly and live-in caregiver roles, including sourcing, screening, and selection.

• Responsible for full-cycle recruitment for primarily hourly and live-in caregiver roles, including sourcing, screening, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
• Develops and implements proactive sourcing strategies tailored to labor market conditions.
• Creates and maintains talent pipelines through strategic partnerships with certification programs, schools, and community organizations.
• hiring metrics and market trends to refine recruitment strategies and improve conversion rates.
• Designs and executes targeted recruitment campaigns, including digital outreach, community partnerships, and event-based recruitment.
• Plans, attends, and represents the organization at recruitment functions, including job fairs, open houses, and conferences.
• Provides training and guidance to hiring managers on interview best practices and candidate selection.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3 years of experience in high volume recruitment or staffing coordination

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms, and MS Office.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and external partners.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, talent pipelines, and recruitment campaigns.
• Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving in sourcing candidates with limited resources.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within Connecticut.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend recruitment events.
