Job summary

New Horizons in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Recruitment Specialist who can manage full-cycle recruitment and build strong talent pipelines. This on-site role focuses on sourcing, screening, and partnering with hiring managers to fill positions with purpose-driven candidates.

You'll work with ATS, Indeed, and social media tools to attract nonprofit-focused talent, participate in job fairs, and ensure a positive candidate experience. Associates degree preferred, on-site location in North Hills.

• Pay Rate: 27.00-29.00 USD hourly
• Work Location: This is an on-site position based in our North Hills office.

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Managing full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to onboarding

Requirements

• Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience sourcing and screening candidates; experience with nonprofit hiring is a plus.
• Tech-Savvy & Systems Proficiency: Strong command of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Indeed, social media, and other digital recruiting tools for candidate sourcing.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborative approach to partnering with hiring managers through regular intake meetings, alignment on staffing needs, and coordination throughout the hiring process.
• Work Authorization & Workplace Requirements: Eligible to work in the United States and able to work on-site.
• Availability: Available for occasional job fairs and community events.
• Industry Experience: Experience recruiting in nonprofit services, social services, healthcare, or disability-services is preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: The Recruitment and Retention Specialist must possess an associates' degree. Bachelor’s degree or certification in human resources-related area is preferred. Experience may be substituted for education at the discretion of the Sr. Director of Human Resources.
