St. Anne’s Family Services in Los Angeles is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment across agency programs and partnerships with hiring managers.

You will attract, assess, and hire mission-aligned talent while supporting proactive sourcing, onboarding, and reporting. The ideal candidate has nonprofit recruitment experience, understands grant funding, and can navigate regulated hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of two years of full-cycle recruiting experience; nonprofit/government-funded experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting for credentialed, licensed, or regulated roles is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit and grant-funded environments and compliance-driven hiring practices.

Compensation: In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary:The Talent Acquisition Specialistmanages full-cycle recruitment across agency programs, partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire qualified, mission-aligned talent. This role supports proactive sourcing efforts, maintains recruitment operations and reporting, and ensures compliance throughout the pre-employment and onboarding process.

The ideal candidate brings recruitment experience within nonprofit, early childhood education, behavioral health, or community-based social services settings and understands the complexity of hiring in regulated, government-funded and grant-funded programs.

• Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Friday, 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM; Every other Friday off!
• Location: St. Anne’s Family Services, 155 N. Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles within nonprofit social services programs, including Early Childhood Education, behavioral health, and interdisciplinary support services.
• Recruit for credentialed and licensed professionals in regulated environments (e.g., teachers, mental health providers, and social service housing staff), ensuring alignment with compliance and funding requirements.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles within mission-driven, community-based organizations.
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), recruitment data, and reporting to support hiring decisions and workforce needs.
• Oversee pre-employment and onboarding processes, ensuring completion of required documentation and alignment with licensing, government funding, and grant compliance standards.
• Maintain relationships with local colleges, workforce programs, job fairs, and community organizations to increase visibility and diversify applicant pools.
• Create and implement recruitment marketing strategies, including social media job promotions, digital outreach, and creative advertising to enhance brand awareness.
• Assist in developing recruitment materials, flyers, job ads, and campaigns to attract qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-cycle recruiting experience required; experience within nonprofit, government-funded, education, behavioral, health, or social services organizations strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting for credentialed, licensed, or regulated roles highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit and grant-funded environments, including compliance-driven hiring practices, preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective partnerships across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize competing deadlines in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
