Job summary

Kayman Recruitment Group in Santa Monica, CA is seeking an embedded recruiter to sit on defense tech accounts, working on a 180/360 model and opportunities to stay embedded long-term.

You will source candidates continuously, present credibly to client stakeholders, and navigate ventures-backed environments with a team-first mindset. New Santa Monica office opening soon and a guaranteed monthly bonus with equity potential.

Location: Santa Monica, CA. In office with the team, plus time at client sites

Compensation: Competitive, above-market base + guaranteed monthly bonus + chance to earn equity

I’m working with a three-year-old recruitment firm that has exclusive work with every one of the top 10 most heavily funded defense tech companies. They’re on track for $15M+ GP this year, with $30M+ forecast for next year. They’re now hiring embedded recruiters to sit on those accounts. Every employee has the chance to earn equity, with huge payout potential against a $1B exit target.

What You’ll Do:

• Join as a 180 or 360 recruiter, then get embedded on a defense tech client project
• Source all day for some of the most heavily funded companies in the space
• Work directly with client stakeholders
• Return to 180/360 after the contract, or stay embedded long-term

• You excel delivery and are happy doing it all day
• You present credibly in front of clients
• You can clearly explain your market: who you recruit, for whom, and why
• You're coachable and hungry to grow. Potential counts for more than credentials here
• Ideally, you've worked with venture-backed or startup clients
• You're team-first, not ego-driven
