Job summary

InnoForge in Los Angeles is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to own the recruitment function during a pivotal growth phase. You will lead sourcing, screening, and closing of hard-to-find engineering and hardware talent, partnering closely with founders and the engineering team.

As the first dedicated recruiter, you will design scalable processes, implement structured interviewing, and drive talent strategy across early-stage defense technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience recruiting within the defense industry is essential.
• A strong track record hiring technical and engineering talent, particularly across hardware-focused environments.
• Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-growth organizations.
• Someone comfortable owning recruitment end-to-end, from sourcing and candidate engagement through to offer acceptance.
• The ability to improve existing processes, introduce structure, and build a more scalable recruitment function.
• A hands-on recruiter who enjoys working closely with engineering teams and senior leadership.

I'm working with a well-funded, rapidly scaling defense technology startup that's looking for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to take ownership of its recruitment function.

The business is developing advanced technology to address some of the most pressing challenges in modern defense. Backed by established investors, they're entering a significant period of growth and need someone who can help them scale.

This is an opportunity to become the Founding recruiter, with genuine ownership and the chance to shape how the business attracts, assesses, and hires talent.
