Job summary

CODAC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to design and execute hiring strategies, source diverse candidate pools, and build a strong employer brand. You will partner with the Director of Employee Relations and Talent Management to fill current and future openings.

Responsibilities include prescreening candidates, coordinating interviews, and representing CODAC at college and community job fairs. Strong HRIS/ATS skills and Paycom experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associates accepted with 2 years HR experience
• 2 years’ experience in general HR functions preferred; recruiting or HRIS experience a plus
• HR Certification and Paycom experience preferred
• Drive recruiting initiatives and maintain candidate data in HRIS/ATS

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Research and represent CODAC at local and virtual job fairs

This individual will Identify potential candidates for current and future openings through a wide variety of recruitment methods and strategies (e.g., networking, sourcing candidates, representing CODAC at job fairs) Assist with other HR duties as assigned.---**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process* Aid in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally.* Provides excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.* Research, organize, and represent CODAC local and virtual job fairs* Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.* Review and analyze resumes using our in-house ATS software program.* Scour job search websites for potential recruits and contact those candidates personally.* Assess applicant’s relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes* Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.* Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.* Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.* Conduct prescreening interviews.* Coordinate panel interviews with/for hiring managers* Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.* Coordinate college recruiting initiatives to include developing working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.* Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)* Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.* Maintains adequate cross training and serves as a backup for other departmental functions.* Performs other related activities in accordance with agency growth and changes.## Qualifications**Education:*** Bachelor’s Degree, preferred* Associates degree in a related field and 2 years’ experience working in Human Resources* Experience may substitute for degree.**Experience:*** Two years of experience in general HR functions is preferred.* Prior experience in recruiting, benefits administration, compensation, HRIS, orientation of staff, employee relations.* High level of proficiency using computers and data entry.* Paycom experience is a plus.**Certifications:*** Human Resources and/or Recruiter Certification, preferred**Additional Requirements:*** Valid Arizona Driver’s license, proof of current insurance and willingness to use personal vehicle. Driver’s license is an essential requirement for performing duties for this position.* Clean Motor Vehicle Record - no more than 2 moving violations or a license suspension in past 3 years.
