Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to build talent pipelines and manage full-cycle recruitment for positions across the organization.

You will engage with community partners, colleges, and agencies, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and help shape hiring practices. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with 1–2 years of recruiting experience and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; presenting opportunities and benefits.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications; attracts applicants via ads and recruiting techniques.
• Interviews applicants to assess qualifications and fit with job requirements.
• Coordinates schedules for management interviews when needed.
• Evaluates applicants with managers against job requirements and qualifications.
• Suggests policy and practice improvements to improve organization attractiveness and compensation.
• Meets recruiting department and organizational goals.
• Other assigned duties as needed.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.


• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.


• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.


• When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.


• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.


• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.


• Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.


• One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.


• Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.


• Bilingual Fluent English/Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.


• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.

Travel Requirements

• Monthly or quarterly travel required
