What is this role like?
Recruiters at Topsort are given a tremendous opportunity to have a huge impact on Topsort's growth - both in terms of raw headcount and our evolving culture. As the recruiting lead, you will be managing the roadmap of future Topsorters, owning the hiring of all new Topsorters, and report to our HR and People Lead. You'll be based in the Boston office but work with a team of recruiters from all over the world and have a global scope of recruiters that are also based in other hubs as we continue to grow at a global scale. You'll be hands on in key and strategic searches, like a player, and more supporting roles in other roles and ensure the metrics, calibre of talent also meet the bar like a coach. You'll also develop a strong foundation of knowledge Topsort, as you will pride yourself on being a Topsort ambassador to candidates, and develop deep knowledge on Topsort's product and people, setting clear expectations for interested candidates and identifying the right individual for every opening. The Recruiting Lead will balance hands-on responsibilities of recruitment with big-pictures goals, including talent acquisition process standardization, recruiting benchmarking, and strategic growth planning.
Requirements:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of recruiters and sourcers, ensuring they achieve hiring goals and develop professionally
- Serve as a culture carrier within the People & Talent organization, driving excellence, high performance, and engagement
- Partner closely with senior leaders, hiring managers, and the broader talent team to align recruiting strategies with business priorities
- Utilize talent analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the hiring process and improve the overall efficiency of your direct team as well as the border talent team
- Leverage technology to establish best practices and drive productivity across recruiting teams
- Lead cross-functional initiatives (such as interviewer training, tool rollouts, and process improvements) to elevate hiring performance and team effectiveness
- Work with c-levels to develop and constantly evolve hiring roadmaps, openings, and talent strategy to ensure we hit hiring plan and also tap into the best talent in the market!
What You'll Need
- A minimum of 7 years in recruiting with an emphasis on scaling a sales organization
- A minimum of 3 years leading high-performing teams
- Experience with managing expectations and reporting out to senior leadership such as the Chief Business Officer, VP of Sales, and other leaders in the sales organization
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic hiring plans aligned with a companies objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Analytical rigor and ability to proactively drive clarity with data
- Proven operational excellence and attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a level of ambiguity
What this role looks like:
- Own and drive full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates for GTM and technical roles
- Partner closely with c-levels to set hiring strategy and roadmap of the company and own entire company's headcount growth plan
- Build creative sourcing strategies to engage hard-to-find and passive talent
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our values and growth mindset
- Leverage data to track hiring metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements
- Adapt quickly to evolving hiring needs and prioritize roles based on business impact
- Champion best practices for interviewing, assessment, and selection
- Represent Topsort externally to help build our employer brand and talent pipeline
