Job summary

Outset is seeking a highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to support fast, high-volume hiring while ensuring an excellent candidate experience. This role is the backbone of recruiting operations, keeping interviews moving, stakeholders aligned, and candidates informed in a fast-changing startup environment.

You will coordinate a high volume of interviews across teams and time zones, own end-to-end scheduling, and partner with recruiters and hiring managers to create efficient processes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of recruiting coordination or similar scheduling-intensive experience.
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring in a startup, high-growth environment.
• Proven ability to manage numerous active candidates and interviews at once with accuracy.
• Strong calendar management skills across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with Ashby.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a candidate-centered approach.
• Attention to detail, good judgment, and prioritization under changing plans.
• Proactive, resourceful mindset and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a high volume of interviews across multiple teams, time zones and hiring stages.
• Own end-to-end interview scheduling, including complex panels and last-minute changes.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and assistants to streamline processes.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates with timely, professional communication.
• Maintain data in the ATS (Ashby) accurately.
• Prepare interview agendas, collect feedback, and move decisions quickly.
• Support recruiting events, campus programs, and high-volume talent programs as needed.
• Coordinate candidate travel, expenses, offers, background checks, and onboarding handoffs.
