Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to oversee the hiring process in a high-volume environment.

You will manage background checks, coordinate pre-employment screenings with vendors, process offer letters, and keep ATS records updated. You’ll partner with hiring managers, HR, and candidates to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and timely reporting through weekly recruitment analytics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, HRMS, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of office administration experience.
• 2 years of ATS experience required; Workday preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manages background and reference check process for prospective employees.
• Coordinates pre-employment background checks with a third-party vendor.
• Processes offer letters and ensures appropriate language is used.
• Manages job requisition and ATS profiles, verifies accuracy.
• Works with hiring managers to resolve recruiting issues.
• Tracks temporary employees and approves related invoices.
• Schedules onboarding and coordinates employment applications.
• Creates and distributes recruitment reports; assists at job fairs.
