Job summary

Airspace is seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting and HR Coordinator to scale during a period of significant hiring growth. In this role, you'll play a critical part in building our talent pipeline, from sourcing and coordinating candidates through the interview process to supporting their transition into the company, while also lending a hand across core HR operations.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who thrives on organization, momentum, and helping build great teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in Human Resources or related administrative roles.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Rippling experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with G-Suite products.
• Familiarity with compliance and/or benefits administration.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; approachable, responsive, and solutions-oriented.
• Knowledge of California wage and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, and other sourcing tools.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and support early-stage screening calls to confirm basic qualifications.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics, ensuring a smooth and timely candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and pipeline status in the ATS.
• Assist with drafting and posting job requisitions.
• Support job offer preparation and extension in partnership with HR leadership.
• Help track and report on recruiting pipeline metrics.
• Assist with onboarding related tasks: background checks, offer letters, and first-day coordination for new hires.
• Support New Hire Orientation sessions on a recurring basis.
• Help maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
• Provide backup support for offboarding processes as needed.
• Assist with compliance tracking across jurisdictions.
• Partner cross-functionally with department leads to support broader HR needs as they arise.
