Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee in a structured training path that starts with onboarding and hands-on recruiting. You will build relationships with consultants, coach them on market trends, and develop sourcing strategies using in-house AI tools.

After training, you’ll transition to a Recruiter role, manage end-to-end recruitment, and support account managers with territory and client needs while earning a base salary plus uncapped commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience in a customer facing role
• Strong interest in b2b sales, relationship-building, and customer service.
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated resilience, coachability, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit IT consultants and manage the recruiting cycle, delivering a world-class experience.
• Coach talent on market trends, labor rates, resume creation, interviewing techniques.
• Develop sourcing strategies using tools and in-house AI.
• Use AI-generated insights to drive recruitment decisions.
• Advise account managers on skill availability, rates, locations, and timelines.
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates for our clients.
• Demonstrate mastery of TEKsystems’ service offerings, market positioning and value.
• Participate in a structured Sales Readiness Program to prepare for Account Manager transitions.
