Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee who will begin with an extensive hands-on training program with an onboarding coach to learn the fundamentals of recruiting. After successful completion, you will transition into a Recruiter role responsible for end-to-end recruitment of top IT consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of full-time professional experience OR 4 years of full-time professional experience in a customer facing role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable with a commission-based, performance-driven environment and fast-paced recruiting cycles
• Willingness to network, learn, and adapt in a diverse team setting
• Interest in using AI tools and data-driven decision making in recruitment processes

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the recruiting cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants by providing career coaching and market insights
• Develop sourcing strategies leveraging tools and technologies, including in-house AI tools
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions throughout recruitment
• Advise account managers on skills availability, labor rates, and hiring timelines
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract and hire candidates for clients’ needs
• Demonstrate domain knowledge within the relevant skill or industry specialization
