Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee who will begin with extensive hands-on training, working with an Onboarding Coach to learn recruiting fundamentals. After training, you will advance to a Recruiter role and handle sourcing, candidate coaching, and client consultations.

In this role you’ll leverage in-house AI tools and market insights to identify top talent. A strong emphasis is placed on building relationships, teamwork, and performance-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience or an associate degree with relevant work experience
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills in a team setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ambition to work in a commission-based, performance-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Recruit IT consultants and manage the full recruiting cycle.
• Coach talent on market trends, rates, resumes, interviews, and skills.
• Develop sourcing strategies using tools, including in-house AI.
• Use AI insights to inform decisions and advise clients on timing and location.
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates.
• Demonstrate knowledge within the assigned specialization.
