Optimal Inc. is seeking a recruiter to manage full life cycle recruiting for Global Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams. The role focuses on intake calls, posting requisitions, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews, with offer extension/negotiation handled by the team.

The position is in Warren, Michigan or Austin, Texas, on a hybrid schedule (Tuesday through Thursday). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting desk and collaborates

Qualifications

• Approximately 3-5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience independently managing reqs and partnering with hiring managers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, changing environment.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Staffing agency and high-volume recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

• Review resumes, source talent, and complete candidate phone screens.
• Own candidate communication and the interview/selection process.
• Partner with interview coordinators and use available AI-enabled interview tools.

A recruiter will manage full life cycle recruiting for Global Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams, specifically Hiring Manager intake calls, posting requisitions and reviewing/screening/vetting candidates and working with TA Coordinators to schedule all interviews, and the Offer Extension/Negotiation. This role emphasizes independent, high-volume hiring manager partnership from intake through offer acceptance.

The assignment is in Warren, Michigan or Austin, Texas, on a hybrid Tuesday through Thursday schedule. The ideal candidate is a curious, motivated self-starter who can independently manage a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hiring manager intake calls; post and manage reqs.

• Own candidate communication and the interview/selection process.
• Partner with interview coordinators and use available AI-enabled interview tools.
• Facilitate offer discussions and negotiations.

This role supports a Talent Acquisition team helping transform a longstanding automotive organization into a technology-focused company. The selected recruiter will gain broad full life cycle experience, work directly with hiring leaders, and help attract talent from automotive, technology, and other competitive industries.

• Staffing agency and high-volume recruiting experience.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates without a degree must have at least four additional years of relevant experience beyond the required 3-5 years.
• Workday experience is strongly preferred, automotive experience is a plus.
• LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing experience preferred.
