Job summary

American Automotive Company in Warren, MI or Austin, TX is seeking a Recruiter for a 3+ month contract with high likelihood of extension, offering a hybrid schedule with remote Mondays and Fridays. You will manage full life cycle recruiting for Global Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams and handle intake calls, requisitions, screening, scheduling, and offers.

• Approximately 3–5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience independently managing reqs and partnering with hiring managers.

• Staffing agency and high-volume recruiting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; degree exemption with relevant experience considered.
• Workday experience is strongly preferred; automotive experience is a plus.
• LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing experience preferred.

Title: Recruiter
Client: American Automotive Company
Duration: 3+ months contract with HIGH possibility of extension or direct hire based off workload and candidates’ performance
Location: Warren, MI or Austin, TX (Hybrid - Mondays & Fridays remote)
Pay: $36-40/hr W2 + Benefits/PTO

A recruiter will manage full life cycle recruiting for Global Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams, specifically Hiring Manager intake calls, posting requisitions and reviewing/screening/vetting candidates and working with TA Coordinators to schedule all interviews, and the Offer Extension/Negotiation. This role emphasizes independent, high-volume hiring manager partnership from intake through offer acceptance.
The assignment is in Warren, Michigan or Austin, Texas, on a hybrid Tuesday through Thursday schedule.
The ideal candidate is a curious, motivated self-starter who can independently manage a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting desk.

• Candidates without a degree must have at least four additional years of relevant experience beyond the required 3-5 years.
• Workday experience is strongly preferred; automotive experience is a plus.
• LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing experience preferred.
