Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers with recruitment, hiring, training, and onboarding of quality candidates. The role requires travel to various centers and events, collaborating with the Recruiting Manager to align strategies and build a strong candidate pipeline.

You will source candidates via social media, job boards, referrals, search agencies, and more; review applications, interview candidates, and manage the interview process in the ATS.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to multitask.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management.
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Experience in HR or Recruiting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
