Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a proactive Recruiter to support our Service Centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates. The role involves traveling to centers and events, building a strong candidate pipeline through job boards, social media and referrals, and coordinating interviews in person or virtual.

You will partner with the Recruiting Manager to meet staffing goals.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with interviewing and reviewing applications preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, school or club presentations, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals.
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using job boards, social media, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc.
