Job summary

Balance Staffing in San Jose is seeking a driven Recruiter to own the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement. You will build strong candidate pipelines, manage client relationships, and play a direct role in connecting great talent with great opportunities.

You will conduct daily screens, coordinate interviews with Account Managers, and keep ATS records up to date while supporting redeployment and payroll collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in staffing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give/receive candid feedback.
• Proficiency in MS Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Excellent organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• A proactive, 'find a way' approach to problem-solving.
• Strong relationship-building with candidates, clients, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruiting cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates.
• Build and maintain a strong, ready-to-work candidate pipeline through calls and job boards.
• Conduct daily phone screens and in-person interviews to assess skills and culture fit.
• Partner with Account Managers and clients to coordinate interviews, relay offers, and close placements.
• Keep candidate records accurate and up to date in the ATS.
• Maintain relationships with placed associates through check-ins, coaching, and stay/exit interviews.
• Support redeployment of top-performing associates as assignments end.
• Identify and troubleshoot payroll/timecard issues in partnership with the Payroll team.
• Collaborate with fellow recruiters, account managers, and support staff to hit shared goals.

• Partner with Account Managers and clients to coordinate interviews, relay offers, and close placements
• Keep candidate records accurate and up to date in the ATS
• Maintain relationships with placed associates through check-ins, coaching, and stay/exit interviews
