Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers with recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

The role involves travel to various centers and events, collaboration with the Recruiting Manager, and building strong candidate pipelines using multiple channels. Responsibilities include interviewing, scheduling, onboarding, and maintaining communications with center leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, schools or clubs for recruitment events.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies and meet hiring goals.
• Develop and source a strong candidate pipeline via social media, job boards, referrals, and agencies.
• Review applications and recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Interview applicants in-person and virtually; set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Guide candidates through interview and hiring processes in the applicant tracking system.
• Create training schedules for new employees and assist with onboarding at Service Centers.
• Train new Service Center employees and coordinate staffing with center leadership.

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events


• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals


• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc


• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels


• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns


• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually


• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers


• Following up with candidates during the interview process


• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system


• Creating Training Schedule for new employees


• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level


• Training new Service Center employees


• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs


• Other duties as assigned

Starting Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This amount reflects base compensation only.
