Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support service centers across our network. You will drive candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for hourly roles and interns, with travel to events and facilities as needed.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Recruiting Manager, maintaining a robust pipeline, and ensuring timely hiring processes using our ATS. The role offers a competitive weekly pay and a professional, people-centered work

Qualifications

• Detail oriented approach to screening and hiring
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines
• Strong communication with candidates and managers
• Experience with interviewing and applicant tracking is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and time management

Responsibilities

• Travel to various Service Centers, career fairs, school and club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies and meet goals
• Develop and source a strong candidate pipeline using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and agencies
• Review applications for candidates at different levels
• Recruit hourly employees and interns
• Interview applicants in person and virtually
• Set up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Follow up with candidates during the interview process
• Advance candidates through the interview and hiring process in the ATS
• Create training schedules for new employees
• Assist new hires with onboarding and orientation at the Service Center
• Train new Service Center staff
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned

Starting Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This amount reflects base compensation only.
