Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines in Minnesota seeks a Recruiter to support service centers with recruitment, onboarding and training while traveling to multiple locations, career fairs and events.

You will collaborate with the Recruiting Manager, source candidates via social media and job boards, review applications and conduct interviews for hourly roles and interns, and manage onboarding and training at the service centers.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to multitask across competing priorities.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Experience reviewing applications and conducting interviews is a plus.
• HR/Recruiting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, and hiring events as needed.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies.
• Develop and source candidate pipelines via social media, boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, search agencies.
• Review applications for candidates at various levels.
• Recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Interview applicants in-person and virtually.
• Set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Follow up with candidates during the process.
• Advance candidates through ATS.
• Create training schedules for new employees.
• Assist onboarding and orientation at Service Centers.
• Train new Service Center employees.
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned

Starting Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This amount reflects base compensation only.
