Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers with recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates. The role involves travel to centers, career fairs, and events to build a strong candidate pipeline.

You will partner with the Recruiting Manager to implement strategies, interview applicants, coordinate interviews, and help new hires through onboarding. The position offers a stable environment with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, and events for recruitment.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies.
• Develop and source candidate pipelines via social media, boards, referrals, agencies.
• Review applications for candidates at various levels.
• Recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Interview applicants in-person and virtually.
• Set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Follow up with candidates during the process.
• Advance candidates through the ATS.
• Create training schedules for new employees.
• Assist new hires with onboarding and orientation at Service Centers.
• Train new Service Center employees.
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events


• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals


• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc


• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels


• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns


• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually


• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers


• Following up with candidates during the interview process


• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system


• Creating Training Schedule for new employees


• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level


• Training new Service Center employees


• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs


• Other duties as assigned

Starting Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This amount reflects base compensation only.
