Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers in recruiting, hiring, training, and onboarding quality candidates. The role involves travel to multiple centers, career fairs, and events to fill hourly roles and interns.

You will collaborate with the Recruiting Manager, source candidates through diverse channels, screen applications, conduct interviews, and coordinate onboarding and training at the center level. A people-centered, meticulous approach is essential.

Qualificações

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit hourly employees and interns for service centers.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies and goals.
• Develop and source a strong candidate pipeline via job boards, social media, referrals, and agencies.
• Review applications and conduct interviews in person or virtually.
• Set up interviews for Hiring Managers and follow up with candidates.
• Move candidates through the interview and hiring process in the ATS.
• Create training schedules and assist with onboarding at service centers.
• Maintain communication with service center leadership on staffing needs.

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned

Starting Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This amount reflects base compensation only.
