Job summary

The City of McMinnville is seeking friendly, customer-focused staff to support patrons in our recreation facilities. You will help with program registrations, reservations, and admissions, while delivering excellent service and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

These part-time roles involve evening and weekend shifts at the Community Center and Aquatic Center. Prior experience in customer service and cash handling is desired, with CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Cash handling skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred if possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about recreation programs and events.
• Assist customers in registration for classes, programs, and facility reservations.
• Answer patron questions and direct to the appropriate resource.
• Be knowledgeable about programs, parks, facilities, and city policies.
• Enforce department policies and procedures.
• Prepare program/room setup and teardown for events/classes.
• Maintain appearance and a safe environment in the facility.
• Perform light maintenance and janitorial duties.
