Job summary

City of McKinney seeks a Recreation Aide to assist in supervising senior recreation center programs, operations, and facilities. Duties include greeting the public, handling registrations, and supporting events. Requires CPR/First Aid and basic computer knowledge.

Must be able to work evenings and weekends, pass a drug screen and background check, and hold a Texas driver’s license if applicable. Join a team guided by RISE values and dedicated to community service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and six months experience with the public or in recreation programs.
• Must have current CPR/First Aid and AED certificate or obtain upon employment.
• Knowledge of computer functions and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet the public and provide friendly customer service.
• Assist with registration, correspondence, public relations, records, and reports.
• Protect and supervise facilities and patrons during events and activities.
• Set up/break down equipment and assist with programming or events.
