Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience: 3 years in recreation center operations or related field; 1 year supervisory experience.
• Knowledge: business English, spelling, math; customer service best practices; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, assign, and supervise staff; provide coaching and administer discipline.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, staff, and supervisors; share updates and operational information.
• Provide friendly, professional service by greeting customers and responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Educate customers about facility rules and safety procedures.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues as needed.
• Operate POS/recreation software, manage registrations, memberships, and rentals.
• Balance cash drawers and prepare end-of-shift reconciliation and deposit logs.
• Oversee facility rentals, inventory, and procurement of supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures; respond to emergencies at facilities.
