The City of Aurora is hiring Recreation Center Staff to ensure welcoming and safe facilities, handle registrations, and support programs and events. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily operations, and deliver high-quality customer service to park and recreation users.

Responsibilities include operating POS systems, managing registrations, balancing cash, and assisting with program logistics. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years’ related experience with 1 year of supervision are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• 3 years of recreation center operations experience with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of customer service, data entry, and basic office software.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, select, assign, and supervise staff; provide ongoing coaching and discipline per city procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, staff, and supervisors about updates and operational information.
• Deliver friendly, professional service to customers in person, by phone, or in writing.
• Ensure facility rules and safety procedures are followed.
• Operate POS/recreation software for registrations, memberships, and rentals; manage cash handling.
• Open/close facilities, balance cash drawers, and prepare end-of-shift reports.
