Job summary

The Town of Avon, Colorado, is seeking a Recreation Services Coordinator to support front desk operations and facility management at the Avon Recreation Center. You will ensure guest services run smoothly, manage registrations, and oversee cashiering and daily revenue processing.

The role collaborates with the Recreation Services team to deliver excellent customer service, maintain a safe facility, and support program delivery while working mid-day to late-evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Physical Education or related field preferred.
• Extensive experience in customer service and two years of progressive relatable job experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist Recreation Center visitors; provide information on programs, memberships and facilities.
• Handle daily cash transactions, registrations, and balance revenues following procedures.
• Assist with development and promotion of program offerings and events; represent the department at events.
• Support safety and facility operations and assist during emergencies.
