Community Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for adult outpatient services in Enfield, CT. This full-time role (35 hours/week) supports clients in identifying recovery goals and linking to community supports.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, skills teaching, crisis intervention, and case management in collaboration with treatment teams. Requires CPSRP or equivalent certification or progress toward it within 6 months, plus a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Lived recovery experience required or preferred.
• 2+ years working with identified populations; CPSRP preferred.
• Must have CPSRP or Recovery Coach certification or equivalent, or obtain within 6 months; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Help clients identify and advocate their recovery goals.
• Use program models and motivational interventions to support recovery strategies.
• Perform program-specific assessments and screens as indicated.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide skills teaching to support clients in daily living and recovery.
• Offer crisis intervention or de-escalation as needed.
• Manage casework and coordinate with natural supports and treatment teams.
