Job summary

CHR Community Health Resources, Inc. seeks a Recovery Coach for the Department of Corrections in Hartford-Enfield, CT. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, located across DOC facilities in Enfield and Hartford.

You will support inmates’ recovery goals and coordinate with treatment teams to provide Medication Assisted Treatment. The candidate will have CPSRP or CCAR recovery certifications or obtain them within 6 months, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience providing recovery support and coaching within clinical or correctional settings.
• Ability to advocate recovery goals and collaborate with treatment teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying recovery goals.
• Provide motivational interventions and education on recovery strategies.
• Conduct program assessments and develop person-centered plans.
• Deliver skills-teaching and crisis de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain documentation per program standards.
• Transport clients as required.
