SchoolsFirst FCU is seeking a Recovery Representative II (Charge Off) to manage delinquent vehicle loans and support collections activities across our California branches in Riverside, Sacramento, and Tustin. The role combines inbound/outbound calls, written correspondence, and account maintenance to establish workable repayment arrangements.

The position requires strong verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, and knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA, and SCRA.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA and SCRA.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Active listening skills.
• Experience with inbound/outbound phone system preferred.
• Intermediate computer and typing skills.
• Basic skip tracing skills.

Aufgaben

• Resolve delinquency on vehicle loans and identify reasons for non-payment.
• Set up repayment plans and negotiate settlements with Members.
• Refer accounts for litigation review and coordinate with third parties as needed.
• Process charge-off activities and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Assist with repossession tasks, including notices and reinstatement requirements.
• Support monthly audits and reporting for the team.
