Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in a collection environment preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal collection laws, including the FDCPA.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with skip tracing or repossession is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers to create payment solutions based on individual circumstances.
• Meet and exceed daily and monthly goals.
• Initiate outbound calls to secure payments or timely arrangements.
• Demonstrate ability to be a team player and collaborate with colleagues.
• Collect accounts that are past due and reduce delinquency levels.
• Conduct skip-tracing to locate potential leads.
