Job summary

Lendmark Financial Services seeks a Centralized Collections & Recovery Specialist II to assist customers with delinquent accounts and charged-off balances. You will contact customers via outbound and inbound calls to negotiate satisfactory payment arrangements and coordinate with internal teams to resolve accounts.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in consumer finance or collections, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple loans while maintaining compliance with FDCPA and

Qualifications

• 2+ years in consumer finance, collections, recovery or related customer contact roles.
• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Contact loan customers for past due payments and update account status in system.
• Manage multiple loans and customer relationships.
• Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements based on customer ability to pay.
• Communicate in a professional manner in line with FDCPA and state guidelines.
• Use skip tracing tools to locate customers and update records.
• Assess accounts for potential repossession or legal steps as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
