Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of prior related experience required.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA and SCRA.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Active listening skills.
• Experience with inbound/outbound phone system preferred.
• Intermediate computer and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Charge-Off Functions: work on charged-off loans through inbound/out-bound calls, written and electronic correspondence, and other approved methods.
• Manage specialized queues for defaulted repayment plans.
• Set up repayment plans, negotiate settlements, re-establish Membership services, and perform account maintenance to reflect approved arrangements.
• Review charged-off loans for possible collection agency placement and refer accounts for litigation review as needed.
• Repossession Functions: work on delinquent vehicle loans through calls and correspondence, generate Final Demand Letters, Notices of Intent to Sell, and Deficiency Balance letters.
• Handle impounded vehicles, coordinate with tow yards and government agencies, and manage disposition paperwork.
